Community Support Through Outreach
Our outreach efforts target two groups:
- People who would enjoy listening to choral concerts but are physically or financially unable to do so.
- Young, talented musicians who are looking to develop their musical skills.
Some of the activities we have done to reach these two groups are as follows:
- Allocated season concert tickets to organizations that support underpriveledged individuals
- Worked with senior centers to bring our concerts to their facilities
- Presented vocal Master’s classes at area high schools
- Collaborated with youth orchestras to perform in our concerts
- Provided paid performance opportunities to Metropolitan Opera runner-ups
- Commissioned and performed pieces by local composers
