Two masters of 20th century sacred choral music are featured
in this performance. Morten Lauridsen’s "Lux aeterna"
is a cunning mix of Old World structures and New World spirit
in its marriage of sacred text and sparse modern score,
while John Rutter’s "Requiem" has been called
"one of the best classical music pieces of our time"
and a
"celestial experience."
Join us for this one-time-only performance of these
new choral masterworks!
